The first meeting we had with Kelly we connected with her. My husband wanted nothing to do with a natural birth until meeting Kelly. We have 3 kids, but learned so much from her for our 4th. Unfortunately, our baby was born during the height of COVID19. Rules changed and I had to choose between my doula and husband. I was a wreck and Kelly communicated with my husband and then came over to meet about options. She brought me my favorite drink and snack and went way above and beyond what was in our contract to try to make my experience what I wanted. In the end, we felt it was best to have Kelly in the room during the labor and delivery. She was so supportive in such a vulnerable time and I wanted to give up so badly, but she encouraged me and got me through the natural birth i wanted. I still text Kelly updates and keep in touch. I wish I would have met her for my other kids, but am so happy I was able to use her for our last.
