I met Kelly 4 years ago during a birthing class she was teaching. I was 38 weeks pregnant with our first daughter. It was that night that I learned want a doula was, and what they did during birth. Being so late in my pregnancy we didn’t think we would be able to hire a doula. My husband and I have talked about how much we wish we would have looked into hiring a doula more and knew if we were to have any other children we would have a doula at the birth.
When we found out we were pregnant with our second child I emailed Kelly immediately. She came to our house for the initial meeting when I was only 6 weeks along. I felt so comfortable with her and was so excited to go into labor and give birth to our daughter.
Hiring Kelly was one of the best decisions we made. She was so supportive in everything we wanted. She knew exactly what to do to make me more comfortable during labor, she had me go into different positions to more labor along. She was so encouraging. I had the birth I always wanted, and that is because of Kelly
If I could do my first birth over I would have hired Kelly. I have told everyone I know how awesome it was having Kelly at my birth and that everyone needs to hire her. There is no way I could have done it without her. Thank you Kelly for all you have done for us and helping bring our sweet girl into the world!
