Testimonial for Kelly Sunshine CD(DONA)
Working with Kelly and having her and her experience as part of my pregnancy, labor and birth story is one I will never regret. We met with Kelly early on in our pregnancy, about the beginning of the 2nd trimester. As first time parents, we wanted to be sure we were in the best hands and were exposed to the best resources for the best pregnancy, labor and birth that was in our control. We had heard of Kelly from a friend of ours who had Kelly as her doula for both of her children. From our very first meet and greet, Kelly stole our hearts with her down to earth personality, passion for what she does and wealth of knowledge. COVID19 brought an element of surprise none of us were prepared for. Because of this, very important parts of our birth plan (like having my husband and Kelly present at the hospital) was in jeapordy. Kelly was able to seamlessly guide us through this time with ease. She was a major sigh of releif through the virus pandamec, she guided us through the hurdles that frequently poppped up before us because of the pandamic, and she fought for us to have the birth plan we desired. The many hospitals and mid wives were not able to do what Kelly was able to do for us during this time and we are so greatful for that. Our son is now a few days old and we are all home safe and healthy! Looking back at my experience, I am so happy we had Kelly as our doula and highly recommend her if you are currently looking for a wonderful support person and highly educated indivudal to have in your corner during your pregnancy and birth experience!
