For our delivery- which was an induction where I was initially dilated 0 she and another doula tag teamed- began on a Friday morning and ended a Sunday night. My labor was very slow because we had to do the cervical softening so that we could begin pitocin. She led us though counter pressure positions that helped me manage my pain more effectively. She knew laboring positions that were gravity based and were effective. And Kelly is kind and empathetic which are good qualities to have in a doula.
