I am so thankful I found Colleen. I moved to a new city 36 weeks into my pregnancy. In just four weeks, Colleen taught me how to prepare my body for birth through nutrition and exercise. She also provided me with resources to learn about evidenced-based birth practices. This is extremely important, because not all (usually outdated) hospital policies and procedures are necessary and some can even drastically increase your risk for c section. Colleen absolutely helped to control my pain and helped my labor progress through pushing positions I never would have found on my own. She also taught my husband all of the above things so he could support me through my pregnancy and take an active role during labor.
