This is my second time using MaryBeth. First baby I did no doula. Huge mistake hubby needed guidance and I had no support on knowledge on my wishes. Second baby reached out to her to try to get back from tramatic birth experience with 1st. It was longer labor 38hours but she was a champ thru it all encouraging, using different techniques for pain management, ensuring staff respected birth plan even though there were changes to birth plan i felt empowered and enjoyed the labor. 3rd baby I got the birth I wanted a natural water birth. She was so flexible with my changes suggestive even went above n beyond getting me a bed pan. She truly cares for her clients she encourages them, certified in many different birthing techniques, she loves what she does. I had called around to different doulas they seemed in it for the money, over booked number of clients, had time limits and additional charges of all sorts.
MaryBeth I would recommend over and over again. Except if your delivering the same time as me because I wouldnt labor without her anymore ;)
Thanks again for ensuring a successful birth plan that I am pleased to say I went thru no regrets.
