Melanie was unwavering in her faith and confidence in me, helping me to find the confidence in myself to bring my daughter into the world. She helped me trust in my body, and get over my fears of birthing after having a c-section for my first delivery. Melanie provided excellent and informative classes before the birth, and I harnessed that information during the birth to support me especially as I neared the end of labor. During labor, Melanie seemed to know exactly what I needed as far as support and helped my partner to best support me as well. She worked with my midwife and nursing team in a respectful way but also aided them in assisting me in the moments I needed it most.
