My husband and I still say to this day that working with Afshan was the best decision we made during our pregnancy. The sessions with Afshan were very helpful and informative and I really believe the philosophy she teaches helped me achieve a birth that best suited my situation. Like most first labors, mine was long and drawn out (at least it certainly felt that way!). Afshan texted with me throughout the first night of labor at home and through next day offering support and guidance. She arrived at my house when contractions became more consistent and helped make me more comfortable to prolong going to the hospital. At the hospital she was with my husband and I the entire time making contractions feel more tolerable and also advocating for my ideal birth plan with the drs and nurses. I truly don't know how I would have survived without her.
