I can't really form into words how wonderful it was to have Jessica as our doula. I couldn't have done it without her! Jessica is worth every penny and more. She will do her very best to ensure you are successful at breast feeding right away and after birth. She supported me through labour. You won't know it now, prenatal, but you will when that pain hits. You should get a doula or midwife if you haven't already. A Doula will be there for you in ways no one may know how to be – and that is exactly who Jessica was to me. Jessica helped me immensely in getting through contractions and keeping in the zone with my breathing. I really struggled with getting the hang of breathing with the gas, but she kept me in the zone, even when I panicked and lost my rhythm several times – she always got me back to the safe zone. I never knew how important breathing and resting in between contractions were. The entire labour and delivery team were amazing. I really couldn’t have climbed that mountain without all of them in the room. I would one million times and more recommend Jessica Cherniak with no hesitation. She totally exceeded our expectations. My husband was there and wonderful, but he was stressed seeing me in it all and sometimes didn't know what to do when I was in so much pain and stress. So it was so amazing to have Jessica's expert calming presence there to always support physically and mentally through the entire time. She not only supports mom, she supports Dad to guide him what to do next to help mom. She also is there every day to help you with tools to become confident about being a parent, especially if its your first. And she will successfully help you breast feed if that's what you want.
