Ashley is an amazing labor doula, and I feel incredibly grateful having found her! She provided exactly the kind of support I needed during labor and delivery of my second child: moral, emotional, and physical. She met with me on more than one occasion before my due date so we could connect and prepare for the big day together and made herself available through calls, text, and email, in case a random question or concern arose in the middle of the night. When the labor pains finally arrived, Ashley was quickly at my side applying counterpressure and utilizing her other effective pain management techniques. From drawing up a birth plan to advocating on my behalf to the hospital staff, she truly made the entire process as simple as could be. She even visited about a week or so afterward to follow up and deliver placenta pills, and we chatted about how perfectly labor and delivery had all unfolded. Having Ashley there truly made it an incredible experience. I cannot underscore that enough. The bottom line is that Ashley will be there for you. She will give you her utmost, unbiased support and encouragement…and she might raise her voice just a bit when she says, “Squeeze my hand.”
