We worked with Des postpartum, and she was fabulous. I struggled with recurring mastitis, and I needed someone desperately, so I contacted Samantha at Windy City Doulas last minute. Before I knew it, Des was taking care of our sweet Lily while I recuperated. She helped me catch my breath so that I could be the mother that I wanted to be to our little girl.
She was so sweet with Lily, talking to her constantly, playing with her and playing music for her. When Des arrived, Lily was happy, and when she left, Lily was all smiles having had wonderful play time and lots of sweet cuddles. My only regret is that I didn't meet Des sooner!
I would highly recommend her for any type of support, and I cannot wait to use her again for round two!
