This was my first experience with a Doula. I was a photographer for this birth, and as an outsider looking in, it was hard to imagine Jill NOT being there. She was such a calm and encouraging presence for both the mom and dad. She was a voice for the mom during the hardest parts of labor, and managed to know exactly what she needed in each intense moment. It was very evident how much Jill cared for this couple. It was incredible to witness such compassion and support.
