Des and I met prior to my son's birth, so when she arrived to help care for my son, who arrived 3 weeks early, I was already super comfortable with Des. Des helped in my rotation of overnight, postpartum Doula care. She took the overnight shift 3 night a week. Because I trusted her early on, I was able to get sleep and be a happier mother. My son benefitted from the fact that I was well rested. Des, a mother herself, helped me learn how best to care for my new child. She has so much experience that she was a patient, but knowledgeable, teacher.
I highly recommend having a doula by your side during delivery and postpartum care, and I truly recommend Desiree!
