Jenn the Doula was not only my child birth educator for both of my children but also my Doula for the birth of my second child. She is extremely knowledgeable in the area of childbirth and other relating topics. Through taking her classes she prepared me with all of the knowledge that I needed to make my self ready to bring a new life into this world. She challenged me to think about topics and learn about things I would not have considered. For my second birth we decided to have her present as my Doula. Jenn was such a support during my labor, mentally, physically and even spiritually. She kept me on track for what I needed in the moment. Helped me remember to breath and how to help my baby be born. She aided me in pain relief during and after my labor. She was constantly thinking ahead to what I would need next. She would take care of it before I even knew it it needed done. She made sure I was well taken care of and comfortable after the birth. Thankfully I did not need to be transferred to a hospital but if I would have, she would be the one that I would want to advocate for my wishes, not only for myself but my baby. She is such a strong amazing woman. You can tell that this is her passion and that she does this as a labor of love. I was truly blessed to have her by my side during my pregnancy journeys. I hope to have her by my side for any future children I bring into this world. Anyone would be so lucky to have her as their educator, doula or both!
