I am truly thankful for Emily! Although I didn’t get to use any of her labor support tools because my labor progressed so fast; she was comforting and encouraging with her presence and words. She would say phrases like “you’re doing so good.” “Your body is doing awesome.” “Your baby girl is almost here.” Those words were exactly what I needed to hear in the moment. She was very zen and calm during my labor and I appreciated that. Emily also took photos during my labor which was the cherry on top because it allowed my husband to focus on being with me and not have to worry about remembering to take photos.
