I cannot recommend Denise Messick highly enough! She started with us as a postpartum doula, and stayed as our son’s nanny for his first year. During that time, she was kind, thoughtful, and caring towards our whole family, even our roommate and our pets! She went above and beyond on so many occasions, even helping us to navigate the challenges of nanny taxes. She is knowledgeable about so many aspects of child care development, and when she didn’t know something she made a point to learn about it. There are so many stressors and difficulties in adapting to parenthood, but Denise was our partner and guide through it all. She made our lives easier in immeasurable ways, both small and large. Her best and most lasting impact is in how our son has grown and developed in her care. He was always happy to see her and still talks about her often.
