Testimonial for Amanda Winn
Amanda was my Doula for my second birthing. I chose her because she is Hypnobabies certified and I planned to use that method during my child's birth. I knew exactly what I wanted from her, for my pregnancy and for our birthing, so my requests of her were specific. She was fine with this scenario. She listened to my wishes and supported them, offering advice and help where she thought I might want it and benefit from it. Her intuition was good. She it was time for the birth, she came when we called her (It was about 5am), and was with us for the birth, as well as staying with me for several hours afterward. During the birth, her voice was calming and she seemed to know just the right thing to say to me.
