I was lucky enough to have Sarah as my doula throughout my pregnancy and birthing process. Sarah is a one of a kind who truly has a wealth of knowledge about what women can and do experience throughout pregnancy and birth. Sarah and I were previous acquaintances, and I immediately felt comfortable talking with her over coffee as she offered no judgement in this being my first birth. She had no problems answering any questions I had and never made me feel like I was bothering her if I needed help in any way during my pregnancy. Anytime I had a question or concern, Sarah was always there to send me a quick text back or phone call to check on me. From weird skin rashes to stomach bugs, to finding ways to help me get labor started, Sarah was there to offer advice and support.
When I finally went into labor, Sarah was such a huge support emotionally and physically. She was so calm and knew what to do during each phase of labor to help me feel more comfortable. Even though I ended up with a c-section, Sarah made sure to decorate my room with the most beautful lights, signs of affirmations made from the blessingway she hosted, and even massaged my feet with essential oils! On top of all of that, after the baby came, Sarah came over more than once to help me with nursing issues and made me feel better about being "new" to it all. She's just the sweetest, most down to earth person and I feel so lucky that she was there with me to help in every way she possibly could. Even 11 months after having my son, Sarah was full of very helpful information when it came to weaning my baby from nursing.
She doesn't bat an eye when you reach out to ask her pretty much anything related to pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. I would recommend her to any moms out there, especially new moms-to-be!
