She met with us twice before our daughter was born to go over the labor and delivery process (and told us stuff we never would have otherwise known), made sure we had a plan in place and helped us figure out strategies for both the birth and the days after.
When Maria joined us at the hospital, she immediately went to work and knew exactly what to ask for and how to make both of us as comfortable and relaxed as possible. She provided utterly irreplaceable physical, vocal and emotional support during and after labor. While some of our nurses were helpful, none of them could even come close to giving the level of care and attention that Maria brought with her. I can say with certainty that the entire process would have been more stressful, painful and panic-inducing without Maria's calming presence.
Even after our daughter was born, Maria has continued to provide insight, tips and support. I recommend Maria to anyone who wants a delightful, intuitive, experienced and empathetic coach as their personal tour guide on the wild journey that is childbirth.
