Martiza is the BEST hands down. I wanted to try a "natural" birth but that wasn't in the cards. My child was breech and due to other complications had to be delivered via emergency c-section at 35 weeks. Maritza was a calming presence that helped us navigate the uncertainty of what a c-section entailed and was by my side the whole time. I know my doctors were rushing and not explaining because they feared for my child's life. That said, I desperately needed a point person to help explain to me what on earth a c-section entails even though I never in a million years thought I'd need one as a healthy 26-year-old that read ALL the books and had ALL the plans. (hah!) Then when my second came along we hoped for a VBAC. Unfortunately, that wasn't in the cards either. My son threatened to arrive at 28 weeks and was delivered via emergency c-section at 33 weeks. I was in the hospital on bedrest for a month. Maritza came to visit me several times a week and made sure I was doing ok. As a mom, we often forget about ourselves and focus on having a healthy baby. Martiza focuses on YOU and helps carry out your wishes even when things don't go according to plan.
