My husband, Corey and I found Staci by a simple Google serach, and boy are we glad we did! With myself being a nurse, I knew about pregnancy/labor, or so I thought. Staci opened our eyes to all sorts of issues that arise or can happen. We learned so much from her. She is very knowledgeable in this area! My husband was skeptical at first because he was unsure of what a doula was/does. Once we met with Staci, he felt more comfortable with having a doula. At each of our prenatal meetings, we learned a lot and had a lot of information to review. Staci talked us through what a birth plan can look like, how to achieve it, and how to advocate for ourselves. Once I was in labor, Staci was at the hospital in no time. Both of our families loved her and she kept them updated while they anxiously waited in the waiting room. Staci did such a great job at making the hospital room calm, peaceful and relaxing. I decided to have a natural birth, and without Staci my husband and I agree that I would not have achieved that. She taught us so well through our prenatals that she did not have to advocate for us during the labor, I spoke up for myself! If you are looking for a Doula who is non-judgemental, knowledgeable, kind, and the life line when you have questions, Staci is your girl! We appreciate everything she did for us and we will NEVER go through another pregnancy without her!
