Testimonial for Heidi Biddle
Heidi was a wonderful support during our delivery and gave us MUCH needed guidance throughout the last trimester and birth. She walked us through preparations for the birthing process and helped us understand the procedures that we could expect the doctors to recommend once we arrived at the hospital (there's usually a pretty strict timeline of events and steps to which they like to adhere). Knowing our desire for the "least medicated" birth possible, she instructed us how to ask the doctors the right questions to get proper information from them, weigh the various options appropriately and objectively, then confidently let the doctors know the path we wished to take. Before labor began, Heidi was checking in with us and giving me advice via text messages (my preferred communication) while my wife relaxed and focused on her body and the baby. Once contractions began, Heidi was with us through the entire 20-hour process, giving my wife much-needed expertise, support and encouragement. She was amazing.
