Laura was just the support I needed for my first pregnancy! She was warm, caring, and available 24/7 to answer all of my "crazy" questions. When I went into labor, I really felt like I had a friend talking me through the craziness and it made all the difference in the world. Unfortunately, Laura was unable to be at my birth in person because she was battling the flu, but she stayed in contact with me and the doula who took her place through the entire thing! She checked in on me in the days following and even came out to my house to see me and love on my baby girl. I hate that circumstances kept her from being in the actual delivery room, but trust me, her presence was felt...that day, during my pregnancy, and the weeks after. She really went above and beyond.
