Testimonial for Heidi Biddle
Our baby was (finally) born exactly 13 days late but thanks to Heidi and our birth plan, without any medical interventions or pain medication. Heidi was incredibly helpful from start to finish. Without her, Jason and I would truly have been up a creek. I knew I wanted a doula with experience, wisdom and one who would support us in whatever decisions we made during our labor. When meeting her, we found Heidi to be knowledgeable, funny and relatable. What we would later find out that Heidi is part coach, part big sister and part sherpa. In our initial meetings, she helped us work through our birth plan, reminding us about "healthy baby, healthy mom" as our ultimate goal and talked us off the ledge of induction more than once during those last awful weeks of 41 and 42 . She instinctively knew when to jump in during labor, stayed one step ahead of me and my contractions, how to guide Jason and continued to check up on us all in the (sometimes hard) weeks following the labor. I can't thank her enough and continue to look to her for support and knowledge.
