Sarah was a Gosend for my birth. My partner was deployed at the time and Sarah provided me the support, calm and decoding of medical talk during the birth. I was induced and my daughter's heart rate kept dropping for each contraction and after 24 hours of labor, they decided I needed a c-section. Sarah walked me through everything and held my hand during the scary parts. She was the calm face for me when my partner couldn't be there. She also audio recorded my daughter's first cry after birth and video recorded her first moments so my partner could be a part of it half way across the world.
