I had a great experience with Jessica as a birth doula for our first child. She is very calm and made me and my husband feel at ease through the whole process. It was important to me that he feel included too, and Jessica treated us like a team, allowing him to support me in the best way. She is well informed and unbiased. She listened well to my wishes and did not force any particular philosophy on me. While I leaned towards as little intervention as possible, I trusted that the doctors and the nurses ultimately knew best, and I was happy that Jessica was my advocate at all times while getting along great with the hospital staff. Ultimately I was induced with pitocin, delivered vaginally with an epidural for pain management. I highly recommend Jessica if you’re looking for a calm laid back personality to hold your hand through the labor process!
