Testimonial for Ashli Findley
Ashli was my doula for my homebirth for my second pregnancy. She was amazingly supportive and encouraging, especially when I was afraid that I would be risked out of the homebirth due to gestational diabetes. She promised to be there no matter where we birthed and constantly was offering words of advice and encourement for me to stick to my very strick diet and focus on the end goal. My actual labor was fairly quick, only 5 hours. Although I had not been in labor long and did not technically meet the 4-1-1 criteria for active labor, Ashli simply asked, "Do you want me there?" As my answer was yes, she made her way to our home immediately and baby was born 30 mins later! While I was past the point of verbally communicating my needs, Ashli was very intuitive and helped me into the birth pool and poured warm water on my back and made me laugh with light humor mixed in with her encouragement. I would a million times over recommend Ashli to anyone looking for a doula. She is, simply put, awesome.
