I am late in my review. Almost a year late. Giving birth is one of the most life changing experiences a woman can ever go through. It has taken me this long to finally be able to sit and really think and absorb my birth story. If you are a mom already you know having a baby will keep you busy and in your toes.
Before being pregnant I had no idea of the ride that pregnancy was going to be. There are so many things that change. My son being our first baby, I knew I needed guidance. I knew I wanted a healthy natural birth. After attending a birth prep class where we met Kelly, I was like oh man we need her! There is a certain vibe you get from Kelly from the moment you meet her. There is this reassurance that she has your back.
After meeting with Kelly in our initial appointment, once again I felt reassured. From the beginning she is very honest and straight forward of what to expect when working with her. It was so nice that she also acknowledged my husband the whole time. While being pregnant yes, the mom is the focus and we tend to forget about the partner. But not Kelly! She addressed both of us. She guided us through the stages of labor, what to expect and what we could do. Once closer to the due date she was there to help me ease any concern I might had. Her guidance and knowledge helped me achieve the labor I wanted. She helped me put my birth plan together. Went over things I personally had not even thought of. Kelly is knowledgeable and experienced. She is a game changer!
If and when baby number two comes, Kelly will be one of the first person to find out because she is getting booked. I cannot imagine labor without Kelly again. She was more than I can ever ask for and I am forever thankful for her services and care.
