Working with Kelly for our home birth was spectacular! What drew me to her was not only her immense knowledge and experience with birth, but also her willingness to help with our other children during our birth if needed. While my husband was busy feeding and getting our other kids ready to leave for a friend's house, she was mindful of what they were eating or doing to report back to me.
She made sure I stayed hydrated and changed positions frequently. She truly helped bring my baby down in a comfortable position. I felt deeply cared for. She was even so helpful and accommodating to my midwives. They all loved her and kept commenting how great she was. I loved that she would hold my hand, or offer counter pressure when I needed. But she also made sure my husband was right next to me and involved as well.
I did Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis with my birth and Kelly was more than willing to learn and use the different language and cues and techniques to assist me during my birthing time. She was also willing to read me prompts if I needed her to. She was also very helpful with putting on the tracks I needed played out loud.
I love so much that she took photos of the birth for us. I will forever get to cherish those.
Overall, Kelly is so knowledgeable and has much experience. I felt like she knew what I wanted or needed before I even knew myself. She lights up the room with her smile and brings much peace and comfort. If we have a 5th baby, we will definitely hire her again.
