Kate was such a blessing to have through the pregnancy and birth of my 3rd son. She carries perfect balance of fun joy and serious knowledge about everything birth babies and motherhood. Already having 2 births I didn't know if I would need a doula, I definitely needed Kate though. I cannot recommend her highly enough!
She provided tips and techniques to prepare me and my husband for the birthing process, more so than my doctors office (who I also think very highly of) has. With Kate's stretches I felt like my body was more prepared to bring my baby into the world.
She was so open and understanding to all of my birthing requests and desires. She always let me know what my options were but was very respectful about what I was comfortable with, what I wanted for the birth of my child.
At the hospital she was a breath of fresh air as we waited for the main event. She kept my husband and I both grounded and even cheery at a fairly anxious time for us. She helped me to move about the room and maternity floor continuing to prepare my body for my delivery.
She truly shared the joy of our growing family and showered each one of us with her love. Kate truly lends all of herself to her mothers, babies, births, and families and it can be felt throughout the whole process. You may be on the fence about needing a doula, but I can assure you that you need Kate.
