Ashli is very sweet. The whole process was delightful. We met at Starbucks to discuss my birth plan. I decided to go natural and she was all for whatever I wanted. Ashli's encouraging words helped in so many ways. We talked abt having a vision and keeping focus of that vacation vision to help ease through contractions. We discussed the different oils she would use to massage me to counteract the contraction pain and talked about some experiences with my 1st child. When it came time to give birth she was available and came as soon as she could. She kept her word with bringing oils and the heavenly hands she has to give massages, she played ocean vibe music to help distract my mind from contraction pain, and was always coaching me through as the pain got more intense. I did not get an epidural because I didn't think it would work as it didn't with my first child and everything Ashli said she would do she did it exceptionally. After birth she stayed to make sure everything was fine. We talked abt how calm my body was to where I didn't tear and I think that had to do with her sensitive words of telling me, "You can do this" "You're doing a great job" helped me mentally so my body could physically do it. It wasn't easy going natural but with Ashli's help it was definitely worth it. She is awesome !!
