Joli is an empowering, kind, supportive, nonjudgmental and loving doula. She was present for the birth of my first child and I always knew we'd want to have her present for our next baby. Our preparations for this baby encompassed conversation regarding my first birth and expectations for this baby. She helped me communicate my needs to my husband for the birth based on how things went last time and helped me find the information I needed for bettering an already positive experience. She helped me calm down when interventions I hadn't prepared my mind for were recommended so my husband and I could make level headed decisions.
