I found Ana through her work partner on this site. I gave birth at home with the help of midwives and her back In November last year. I am a single mom and came to Canada in July to give birth. I did not know anyone back then, besides my auntie. But she was busy to even attend my birth. I was advised by my midwives to find a doula. And thank gosh I gave birth with her help because I would have never imagined going through 36 hours labour by myself.
I am also not working at the moment, and when I contacted her I told her that I was strained with financial issues. She was able to provide me sliding scale fee for her services.
Besides being a doula, she was also helping me to encapsulate my placenta.
I would recommend her services as a doula. She is doing an amazing job. I would definitely use her again when I have more kids in the future.
