I never thought I'd hire a doula, but I'm so glad I did!!!
It's my abosulute pleasure to recommend Anastasia Spivak for her doula service. It was my last minute decision to hire a doula right before my scheduled c-section so I called a few numbers that were listed online on a doula website.....I was referred to Anastasia by one of the doulas. Prior to my surgery; I spoke to Anastasia on the phone, and met her in person.....she answered all my questions, and I found her to be very easy going, and she made me feel comfortable.
I'm so glad that Anastasia was my doula. She is very knowledgeable and experienced....she's a parent as well, so she understood what I was going through.
It was very difficult to move around and practically do much after my c-section. Anastasia put me at ease by passing my baby over to me from the basinette, holding my baby while I rested, swadding her, and comforting her while I healed.... I found her to be alert, informative and very caring. She did a fantastic job!
