Wendy went above and beyond what I expected out of a doula. I met Wendy later on in my pregnancy but instantly loved her. From the first time we spoke on the phone she gave so much.... love, kindness, and caring for what i desire. She was calm and sensitive to my needs. She cared an took an intrest in my personal life. She was very detailed in helping me prepare for my birth. I was wanting an all natural birth and she knew the questions I should ask to be able to get that. She researched the hospital I was looking at delivering at and gave me a good report back. God knew I needed her cause she just jumped right in and helped me with things I couldn't even think or know I needed to think about. She was my brain!!! And she did it all very professional and personal. Then the actual birth experience... wow I said over an over to many people if it wouldn't have been for Wendy at my side coaching I don't know if I could have done it. She stayed by me the whole time. Did a fantastic job of coaching me. She was strong, stable, calm and just very knowledgeable to about what was going on. She believed in me, offered me drinks an food when i couldnt think that far, pushed me a little when I was ready to give up, and because of that I was able to achieve my natural birth. Wendy was not just a doula in my experience she was a friend who came alongside and went above what she needed to do and offered me so much support and help. If there where a 5 star rating here she would definitely recieve 5 stars!!!
