From the very first meet you told me to search around before deciding who I wanted to be my Doula. Sorry but I never listen. I knew from the start you were who I needed to help me achieve my homebirth. You were the one who I knew could handle me in my most vulnerable state. I am one of the most stubborn independent people I know and those traits shown through during labor and you always knew what to do even when I didn’t. When I said I can’t for the thousandth time you kept reassuring me that I could. You made sure Logan stayed calm and told him what to do when I needed it. I couldn’t have imagined doing this without you. I hope your kids know just how amazing their mommy is! Thank you for being my strength, thank you for pretending with Logan that we were gonna make it to the hospital and get that epidural lol! It made the pain reside for those last few minutes which was what I needed before the finale. You carry your weight in gold and I wish I was going to have more babies so that you could be my Doula again! You have the most pure soul Ive ever met.
