Jeni was such an incredible blessing to us and an intergal part of the calm, relaxing environment of my home birth. She was technically a back-up doula for me, but I truly could not have been more pleased with her from the moment she walked in, and I would heartily recommend her to anyone! As soon as Jeni arrived, she was friendly, relaxed and eager to help. She jumped in and started massaging my feet and provided comfort during contractions. I loved her intuitive nature that often anticipated my comfort needs. She was willing to do anything that would bring me relief such as pouring warm water down my back in the birthing pool and putting cold cloths on my forehead every few minutes. I also felt very comfortable with her personality and quickly felt like I had known her for a long time! If you are looking for a wonderful, well educated, kind and calm doula, look no further! Jeni is a source of joy and thanksgiving and will bring her wisdom that comes from her detailed work and study of birth and her genuine care for a mother to any birthing situation.
