Kelly was really helpful in our birth delivery. My wife and I are firs time parents, and let’s say, a doula is well worth it during those crucial hours. Imagine, trying to find your way home through the dark, the doula is the light that paves the way. There were so many unexpected surprises when we had our first-born. No books, no classes, no amount of warnings could prepare us for what happened. But, with Kelly there, she provided us with comfort and guidance when it really mattered. We had a 48+ hour labor delivery. Kelly was with us the entire time. She provided expert advice: “Squeeze those hips, SQUEEZE!!” Those hip squeezes were a life saver. We managed to deliver a healthy young baby boy without a C-section, and my wife is recovering very well.
Words cannot say how much we appreciate Kelly’s help throughout the birth. If you’re on the fence of whether to get a doula, get one. Get Kelly! :)
