This was my first pregnancy and it was a reassurance to have Britni there to help guide us through the unknown. She maintained a very calm, reassuring presence even during the stressful moments of early and active labor. When I was unable to communicate because of labor pains, she was there to support my husband. Britni also stayed to help me with breastfeeding once my daughter was born. She followed up a week after the birth with a visit to our house. She gave us great information on cloth-diapering and baby wearing that we still use 8 months later.
