If I ever have another child, I will most certainly be hiring Jenn again! Prior to the birth of our daughter, Jenn provided us with a great deal of information about labor and delivery options so that we could decide what we wanted and be prepared. (Or at least as prepared as you can be as a first time mom!) My goal was to give birth naturally (unmedicated) in a hospital setting and Jenn helped us to achieve that. Before we called her to join us at the hospital, labor was difficult and I was wondering if I could possibly manage a natural delivery. When we called Jenn to join us, she arrived quickly. What a huge difference she made! She knew how to apply counter-pressure (which was amazingly helpful) and suggested different movements to make labor progress faster and more comfortably. Throughout labor and delivery, Jenn was very calm and supportive. After the birth, she kept in touch and checked in occasionally to see how we were doing. The only regret I have about the whole experience is that we didn't call her sooner when I was in labor!
