Andrea played a big role in the birth of our daughter. When we first met Andrea, she was warm, kind and knowledgeable. I knew she would be a comforting force in the delivery room. Before delivering, Andrea provided many helpful resources for us. She showed us examples of birth plans, she provided information about many birthing options. As first time parents, this was extremely helpful.
During delivery, Andrea’s prescense provided comfort and support. My labor was long, it took a few days full of contractions for me to be admitted to the hospital. Andrea provided support to help get me through the contractions. She had many helpful techniques to provide relief. She was also very encouraging, my own personal cheerleader. Finally when I was admitted to the hospital she was respectful of my decisions. I decided to have an epidural, and even though it wasn’t in my birth plan she helped me feel comfortable and not guilty about making that change. The next day, the doctors told me I needed to have a c-section. I was very nervous and scared. Andrea helped keep me calm and focused on the end goal: to have a healthy baby. She also helped document the birthing experience with beautiful photos. After I delivered my daughter, I felt guilty about having to have a c-section. Andrea’s reassurance that I did what was in the best interest of my daughter was critical. She helped me navigate those strong feelings and I am extremely grateful for that.
Andrea helped make my birth experience happy and full of love. My husband was also super grateful for have her guidance and support. I can’t thank her enough for the care she provided. I would definitely recommend her.
