I decided to hire Staci at The Statesville Doula when I was 34 weeks pregnant. I had spent several months interviewing different doulas in the area and none seemed to be the best fit for me and my wife. During our consultation, Staci made me feel comfortable and in charge of my birth. She actually made me excited to have my baby after months of being nervous. When I went into labor, Staci was a calm presence over the phone and when I needed her, she came right to me, able to show me and my wife how we could work together for my comfort.
