Gabriel has been invaluable in my postpartum recovery. When left feeling overwhelmed and overtired she was there to help me out both physically and emotionally. She helped problem-solve for my tendonitis that I could hold my baby by helping me find a type of sling that worked for us. She also helped come up with breastfeeding techniques that worked for me giving my physical limitations. She offered emotional support and reassurance when I needed it most. She helped talk me through the various stages of postpartum and was very knowledgeable regarding my recovery process.
I found all the paperwork and websites I was given at the hospital to be too overwhelming and Gabrielle helped me sort through all that and verbally was able to teach me what I needed to know to get me on a more confident path of motherhood. She also helped my husband to understand my needs and limitations as a new mom.
Struggling with postpartum depression, knowing that she was there to help, really got me through some dark times.
