Siena was a true blessing throughout my pregnancy. From the moment we interviewed her my husband and I knew we wanted her to guide us through our birthing journey. We met with Siena 3 times before the birth and she checked in via phone call and text periodically as well. Each meeting leading up to birth was informative and really helped calm our nerves about what to expect. All the information she gave us was all fact based, she was very open about risks of birth, what the midwives may need to do, etc. She guided us in the creation of a positive birth plan that encompassed everything I wanted to hopefully achieve. When the birth day arrived Siena was an absolute dream. She arrived with her bag of tricks- essential oils, the most amazing counter pressure points and so much positivity. She also helped guide my husband so he could be as hands on as possible. She was amazing at coaching my breathing and helping me relax while I was in the tub. She was by my side the whole time and was ready to hold my hand or brush back my hair at a seconds notice. Not only is is a great doula for the mom to be but she includes your partner 100% as well. Because of the support Siena gave I feel she is a huge factor in my unmedicated birth. We don't have any family here so she stepped in and felt like family by the time the birth happened. Her energy and presence is done with such grace and gratitude. Her respect for all involved in the birth is absolutely beautiful. Siena's a doula for the sole purpose to help other women achieve an experience they deserve. she will advocate for you until the very end. I can't say enough good things about her and our experience. We have loved staying in touch with her after the birth and sending her updates of our baby girl she helped so beautifully and lovingly bring into this world.
