Arti was truly a Godsent! First time parents, we wanted a doula to help reduce our anxiety during childbirth. From the moment we met Arti, we were so impressed and instantly felt comfortable and connected to her. We knew right after our first meeting that Arti was the perfect doula for us, we clicked with her instantly. Her professionalism and passion for helping to inform pregnant women and their partners about the birthing process and their options are what stood out the most. Over the course of our first two meetings, Arti taught us so much and confidently answered every one of our questions. We were highly impressed with her theoretical and practical knowledge as well as her resourcefulness. As a result, my husband and I felt confident and prepared heading into my labour.
My labour was fast and furious. Arti was a calming and caring presence throughout and worked beautifully alongside our midwife and the the nurses at BC Women's Hospital.
As first-time parents we truly appreciated the extra support in the early days. Again, Arti's visits were so helpful and comforting as we transitioned into our new role as parents/care-givers of our beautiful baby girl. Her ethic of care and professionalism are second to none!
