We worked with Team Ramey Doula's for about six weeks from the time our son was a month old for overnight care. Our son had a difficult time sleeping which made for major sleep deprivation for my husband and me. We spoke to Kristi early in the week and by the weekend, one of her doulas was able to come and help us. During their time in our home, the doulas were very professional, always arriving on time, and treated our son like he was one of their own. They listened to our concerns and our wishes and tailored their care to us. After a couple weeks, we both felt like different people - not be so sleep deprived that we could barely function and finally able to enjoy our son. The doulas also taught us different methods on how to soothe our son when he was fussy and inconsolable and gave us the confidence to once again parent him on our own overnight. I'd highly recommend the Ramey Team's doulas to any new parent who needs help with their newborn - it was by far the best money we spent on any baby-related item/service in our son's early days.
