After giving birth to my first child in March of 2018, I can say that being a Doula is Sarah's calling in life. The birthday of my baby was one of the most beautiful days of my life, and Sarah was a huge part of that. Sarah is extremely knowledgable and was available to talk if ever I needed her - whether it was a question about strange sensations while pregnant or breast feeding concerns post delivery. Sarah is compassionate, thoughtful and so encouraging. The birth of my baby didn't go exactly as planned, and Sarah was there to explain (in layman's terms) what was happening while keeping me focused and calm. She was my advocate and made sure my needs and questions were addressed by the medical team. Sarah also checked in regularly after my baby was born and was instrumental in helping me figure out breastfeeding. In short, Sarah is a gift. Her healing presence is rare, and I hope to have her by my side again for the birth of my future children.
