I had a wonderful experience with Lavina. I had some family around durring my immediate post partum phase and didn't feel like I really needed help, but in the coming months started to feel overwhelmed with trying to be a mom and a human, as well as the prospect of going back to work. Lavina came in and helped me out with things around the home, organizing pump gear and preparing to build a milk stash, and some babywearing guidance but more importantly just to be an ear and relax some of my "shoulding." Even after we initially worked together she would check in on me which is really sweet. I like that I'm able to reach out to her for support from time to time, and that her approach to doulaing and motherhood is very continuous. It also really felt great to know she's a working mom with little ones. Definitely a great resource and gentle hand to have around!
