Mariola was a calming, knowledgeable source about everything birth-related for us. We appreciated her advice and counsel on issues leading up to birth as well as birth itself. I had a very long and painful labor, and Mariola provided me some of my only moments of peace. She helped me make decisions when I needed to, and she helped me to breastfeed for the first time. If she hadn’t taken that initiative, I think breastfeeding would have been much more difficult for me later on.
