We so enjoyed working with Siena - she is a gem! The pre-partum sessions with her helped us prepare and think through questions and issue that our various birth classes hadn't brought up, and they also helped us really feel comfortable with Siena being part of our birth team. She was always calm and engaged, and never seemed rushed no matter how long we talked. When labor was particularly challenging, Siena was was calm, supportive, and present. The little things - like rubbing my feet or getting me a wash cloth with lavender - made a big difference during the worst of my labor pain and she was always encouraging and supportive of the choices we made, even when those weren't part of our birth plan! Best of all, we laughed, joked, and smiled as much as was possible! We highly recommend Siena as a birth doula - this is clearly work she was meant to do.
